Individual & Family Counseling

We provide trauma informed, evidenced based mental health services—through a Christian lens—to adults and families of all ages.

We specialize in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, perinatal and post-partum mood changes, self-esteem, and grief.

In family sessions, we will work to rebuild and repair the relationships that are important to you, to improve communication, and to decrease conflict.

Children & Youth

We specialize in working with children and youth who have anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or body image.

We also work with young people who have experienced trauma, are struggling with their emotions, need help coping with stress, or have behavioral challenges.

As their parent or caregiver, we will meet with you throughout treatment to assess how things are going, to prioritize areas for treatment, and to give you concrete tools for addressing your child’s behavior and symptoms between sessions.

Christian Counseling

Has your light become dimmer over the years? Are you struggling to find your true path and calling? Do you wish for guidance from a trained professional who will understand and respect that your number one priority is building a relationship with God?

If so, you are not alone. More and more of our clients are looking for faith-based counseling that can heal the mind and the soul. They want to be able to not only discuss the issues they are having but also openly discuss God, the Bible, and their belief in the power of prayer.

We will work with you to integrate your values and beliefs into the counseling process. We will not push our personal beliefs onto you or shame you for your mistakes.

How Do I know If Counseling is Right For Me?

If you know you want to change, but don’t know where to start…

If you are struggling with the ups and downs of life…

If you are stressed, anxious, down, or numb…

If you haven’t felt like yourself in a while…

Or, if you feel stuck and have been for a long time…

Then it’s time to give therapy a try!

Our Approach

We know coming to therapy can be scary, so we make it fit for you. We provide a safe place where we will listen first and help you overcome the challenges you face. We will walk alongside you as you break the chains in your life that are holding you down.

Our approach is laid-back, supportive, evidenced-based and solution focused.

You will walk away with solid tools for managing the challenges you face in your life.

How It Works

Schedule a Free Consultation

We will start with a 15-minute consultation to introduce ourselves, answer any questions you have, and determine if we are the right fit to work together.

We will also obtain your insurance information, verify your benefits, and will inform you of the per session cost (private pay, copay, co-insurance, etc.).

i

Schedule Your First Appointment

Your first appointment will last about an hour. We will get to know you more, gather information about your challenges, and will set treatment goals.

From there, sessions will occur every 7 to 14 days and will address your priority areas of focus.

You may be given skill building exercises to apply between sessions to increase the effectiveness of our work together.

Reach Your Goals

The frequency of sessions will decrease as things improve in your life or see progress on your goals.

The focus shifts to you becoming your own therapist and maintaining the positive changes that have occurred in your life.

You will “graduate” from therapy when the time is right.
